Come witness Crow Theatre Company's inaugural performance of A Common Martyr, by Michael Weems.
The opening night will be on Monday, May 13th at Central Cafe, 108 Central Ave, Brooklyn, NY. The play will be up for two nights.
Following the story of six recent college graduates on a post-graduation celebratory camping trip, when after more than a few bottles of beer, tensions arise and everyone's real feelings for one another come to life. With equal parts comedy and drama, this story of being young, and not really sure of what you want from life and from those around you, will have all audience members relating to moments in their own life that caused them to become a martyr to their own struggles.
If you're looking for a play with young adult actors, with compelling drama, deep philosophical references, romance, and humor, then this is the play for you.
